13.33% shop in the village once a year.
Conclusion so far?
As a village we need to offer more daily shopping necessities.
40% of customers shop on Sundays. 33% do so for leisure and 67% shop out of necessity.
58% stated they would not shop in the village on a Sunday.
Conclusion so far?
At this stage Sunday opening does not look necessary, especially in the winter months when more people are unlikely to venture out unless they have to.
A massive 73% stated they would not shop in the village on late night opening, with only 27% suggesting they would support the initiative
Conclusion so far?
This is a little more difficult to analyse because the target audience for late night shopping are the working families who can’t get in to the village before normal closing. They at the moment are not the ones filling out the questionnaire. Saturday feedback will be interesting.
